“A person who is not disciplined cannot be cautioned.” – African Proverb

You cannot get rich without willingly taking risks. The abundance of returns is a reward for taking calculated risks. To be able to take considered risks, you should be open to caution which only comes from wise counsel.

To be sincere in your reception of caution you must be self-discipled. This is different from obedience. If you merely obey what you are instructed to do, you become frustrated and you feel controlled by your environment.

Self-discipline that welcomes caution comes from a definite desire. When you know what you want and set out to get it, you constantly seek ways to get there. With persistent pursuit, you will find the shortest and most efficient way to your earthly destiny.

Taking caution is courage, taking counsel is wisdom. Be wise by curiosity; be courageous by humility and you will always get prime counsel at minimal cost to yourself.
