The culture of innovation is the work environment that leaders cultivate in order to nurture unorthodox thinking and its application. Leaders are the catalysts of innovation, hence why leadership by the youth is one where transformative action pushes goals, advocates, and embodies an amass of substantial, innovative leaders.
This amass supports today’s environment for a holistic workforce, which is heavily important because, as a youth, we are the target generation for a revolutionary social environment, an empowered groundbreaking political structure, and an intentional economic workforce.
The workforce is a highlight of what space the future holds in waiting after our university studies. Hence, innovative culture is assisting us base our creative abilities on value and competitive differentiation instead of traditional routines such as revenue generation or employee productivity exhaustion. A workforce that we as youth are to create is one that encourages discovery by rewarding time spent on the research required to generate new ideas.
A community committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better and more sustainable world by creating projects that aim to empower our local community in Kenya is what the future is in dire need of. I am intrigued by the ownership of responsibility – to take sustainability, innovation, and transformation by the horns of entrepreneurship and development the youth strive to achieve. I love the idea of being part of an innovative youth focused on finding solutions to problems instead of creating them.
