- Know What You Stand For
Knowing what you stand for makes it easier to channel your energy into growing in it. What you stand for can also be likened to your purpose. If you do not know your purpose yet, I wrote an article that can guide you on how to discover yours easily. Kindly refer to that article for guidance.
Learn and Get Better at What You Do
Taking deliberate steps to learn more and be better influences personal growth. It is important to learn and work at getting better. If you are better, work at being the best. The goal is never to stop learning.
- Be Consistent
Readiness to learn needs to be supported by consistency. Always show up, even when it doesn’t seem encouraging or when you don’t feel like carrying through with a task or responsibility. When you are consistent, you get better and you find yourself feeling great about yourself.
Face Your fears
Fears can be a great hindrance to personal growth. Fear takes away the goodwill spirit from a person. It is important to fight your fears and overcome it to attain growth. I wrote an article on overcoming fear of the unknown; this can aid you with practical steps to fighting fears.
- Take Action
The fastest way to improve is to take action. Practicing things you have learnt helps you evaluate and identify your strengths and weaknesses – then you continually build more on them.
Lastly, I would like to add that, the plan of God in all we do cannot be overemphasized. Commit your works into God’s hands and see Him direct your path.
I will definitely celebrate with you. Cheers to more growth and records in the years to come.
