The future of the African continent rests in the hands of young people. Thus, the role of the younger generation is very crucial in the success of Africa.
At Success Afrika, we acknowledge the need to guide and teach them the right approaches to success and how to build a successful lifestyle.
On the 20th of October, Success Afrika sponsored an outreach in Ifelodun Grammar School, Nigeria. The approach is in line with sustaining quality education, a key agenda of Social Development Goal number 4.
The outreach was mainly focused on teaching the students the following;
The right approach to Success:
This was achieved by teaching them the success principles and how to apply them in life.
How to overcome peer pressure in making career choices:
Many students make career choices based on external influences. They lack inner motivation and drive in the making choices. This session was aimed at helping them make the right career choices. The speaker employed practicality in teaching the students ways of overcoming peer pressure.
My Inspiration Story:
During this session, one of the speakers shared her story. How she discovered her purpose and how that has given her a clear roadmap in life, even in setting goals. This motivated the students to believe more in themselves. The students realized the power of determination.
Questions and Answers:
In this session, the students were allowed to ask questions about the lectures and life issues. The speakers handled all questions comprehensively.
In the outreach, over 300 students were impacted. Apart from the knowledge and life skills, they each received notebooks, stationery and school bags. There is a lot of great feedback from the outreach which keeps trickling in daily. From the feedback, students are doing better in their studies and even in making better life decisions.
As a media house, we are focused on changing the African narrative and we are leaving no stone unturned. The young ones are important and they are not left out in this. We aim to grow and develop as one Africa.
