In a normal African setting, a child is a child. They play around, eat and sleep. When they are of school going age, they go to school, play, do a few house chores and eat. For Nigeria’s Emanuella Samuel, things are way different.
At the age of 10, she is an award winning popular comedian with lots of cash under her name. Having lots of money at this age is something very big but Emanuella has done something bigger. At her age, she has done something many adults wish for. She has changed her mum’s tenant status to home owner!
In an appreciation post on social media she said, “
“I built this for you mom. For all the prayers, all the encouragements and support. Mummy I know you said you want a portable house and this is it. But forgive me because I must complete your mansion for you next year. Don’t worry it wont make us go to hell. My super Christmas mummy. I love you,”
Emanuella Is on a Journey
Her story is an inspiration to both the young and the old, and an eye opener to parents to identify gifts in their children and start nurturing them at an early age. Talent pays!
Emanuella Samuel (born July 22, 2010), comonly known as Emanuella, is an 11 year old (as of 2021) YouTube child comedian on Mark Angel’s YouTube channel. Emmanuella’s first appearance was on episode 34, titled “Who Mess?”
She came into the limelight after her comedy skit “This is not my real face” went viral. Mark Angel who happens to be her cousin has been very instrumental in nurturing the young lad’s talent.
In 2018, Emanuella was invited to the National Assembly by Senate President Bukola Saraki on account of her landing a role in a Disney film. She made the announcement of her role in the Disney film on her Instagram page. In 2016, Emanuella won the award for Top Subscribed Creator from YouTube at the inaugural edition of the Sub-Saharan African YouTube Awards.
